The short version
Our website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies. Foretell MTG requires no account. Gameplay inputs and session observations stay on your device. The app uses Scryfall for card data, Google Mobile Ads for advertising, and Apple StoreKit for purchases.
This Privacy Policy applies to tombstonegames.com, Foretell MTG (referred to below as “Foretell”), and other Tombstone Games products that link to it (collectively, the “Services”).
Information processed
Information you send us
If you email us for support, privacy, press, or business purposes, we receive the information in your message, such as your email address, name, and anything you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Website technical data
We do not place analytics or advertising cookies on this website. Like most hosting providers, our infrastructure provider may automatically process basic request data—such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security logs—to deliver and protect the site.
Foretell data that stays local
Foretell does not require an account. Mana selections, current-session observations, filters, downloaded card records, purchase entitlement status, and preferences are stored on your device or held in memory as needed to operate the app. Tombstone Games does not receive your opponent identity, hand contents, deck list, gameplay screen, contacts, or precise location through Foretell.
Card catalog requests
When Foretell checks for or downloads card data, it connects directly to Scryfall. As with any network request, Scryfall may receive your IP address, request headers, requested URLs, and timestamps under its own practices. Foretell does not include your gameplay choices in those requests.
Purchases
Apple processes Foretell in-app purchases through StoreKit. We may receive product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to complete, restore, and support a purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
Advertising and consent
The free version of Foretell may display a banner ad using the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform. Depending on your device, region, settings, and consent choices, Google says its SDK may process:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- device identifiers, including advertising or app/developer-bounded identifiers;
- advertising data, such as ads shown;
- app and ad interactions;
- crash logs, diagnostics, and performance information.
Google and its advertising partners may use this information to deliver, measure, secure, and—where permitted—personalize ads. Regional consent messages are provided where required. Foretell also provides access to available ad-privacy options from its settings. A one-time in-app purchase removes the Foretell banner ad after the entitlement is confirmed.

Retention and security
Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain relevant records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Local app data remains on your device until you clear it, remove the app, or the operating system removes it. Third parties determine retention for information they independently process under their policies.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small software studio. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy choices
- Ad privacy: use Foretell’s settings to revisit available Google consent and privacy options.
- Device controls: manage tracking permission and advertising settings in iOS Settings.
- Remove ads: purchase or restore Foretell’s one-time Remove Ads product.
- Local data: uninstalling Foretell removes app data according to iOS behavior.
- Requests: email us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data Tombstone Games controls.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied request. We may need to verify a request before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent where local law permits. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Children and international use
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information directly to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, processing is subject to legal transfer mechanisms and safeguards maintained by the relevant provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the relevant app where appropriate.
